AMBER ACID – HELPS TO FIGHT SIGNS OF PREMATURE AGEING

Facial Skin Care

Every autumn, women who care for their complexion look for new ways to prevent the first signs of ageing triggered by sunbathing season. However, cosmetologists remind us that in order to keep your skin young and healthy, you shouldn’t wait for the first wrinkles to appear – you need to take care of your skin beforehand. That’s why specialists are now increasingly recommending a modern alternative for skin care: organic succinic acid, which prevents skin ageing.

With the end of the sunbathing season, more and more clients are returning to cosmetologists’ offices after noticing the first signs of premature ageing. Already in September, many start complaining about unpleasant changes in their facial skin – dryness, flaking, dandruff and loss of skin elasticity.

Excessive sun exposure leads to the loss of collagen and elastin fibres, causing serious changes in the dermis or dermis layer of the skin, which is the most effective way to stop this ageing process – succinic acid, which not only helps prevent premature signs of ageing, but also visibly softens the wrinkles that have already appeared.

“Succinic acid helps to achieve an immediate visible result in a very short period of time for skin that is experiencing the first signs of ageing. The acid stimulates energy production in the skin cells, stimulates regeneration processes and activates the skin’s protective functions, making sagging skin firmer, smoother and more radiant,” says Irena Jokšienė, founder of the acid cosmetics brand “O.D.A.”. – This acid not only protects the skin from excess oxidative reactions or free radicals, but also cleanses it without damaging the protective barrier. Therefore, the effect of cosmetic products containing succinic acid is very quickly noticeable and the results are long-lasting.”

Amber acid, a member of the organic dicarboxylic acid group, has antioxidant properties that alleviate chronic skin diseases, regulate the skin’s moisture balance and the activity of the sebaceous glands. Acid acting in the upper layer of the skin epidermis, it removes dead cells and stimulates the production of new ones by opening the pores and thus increasing the skin’s permeability to other active ingredients in cosmetic products.

“For women who notice the first signs of skin ageing, experts in acid cosmetics always advise them to try the succinic acid monopiling, which is not only characterised by stopping premature ageing and smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, but also by activating the regulatory processes that regulate the elasticity of the blood vessel walls and the metabolism of melanin, which prevents the appearance of humpiness and pigmentation. The skin regains its moisture balance after the amber acid monopoly, and clients are no longer plagued by puffiness and dark circles in the under-eye area,” says the founder of the ODA clinic.

In the search for the most effective solutions to combat the first signs of skin ageing, this year scientists have recognised one of the most proven modern practices – the use of a combination of amber and hyaluronic acids in cosmetics. While hyaluronic acid is recognised as the most effective moisturising agent for the skin, scientists have discovered a way to further strengthen the skin’s structure and ensure its firmness and moisture by using succinic acid to protect the skin from the damaging effects of the environment through the neutralisation of free radicals, which allows the two acids to stimulate both the micro-circulation of the skin, and the synthesis of elastin and collagen, which stops the early signs of ageing.

“We have to accept that skin ageing is inevitable and that everyone will eventually see the first wrinkles in their face in the mirror,” says I. Jokšienė. – Whatever happens, we have to love our skin and accept its changes. This understanding will allow us to continue to take care of our skin, to moisturise, nourish and protect it from harmful environmental factors. With autumn coming, we spend more and more time at home, which allows us to pay enough attention to the proper care of our skin on a daily basis and to treat it to a moisturising mask from time to time. And the most important thing to remember is that no matter what products we try, the biggest changes in our skin will always come from the discovery of a harmonious lifestyle,” says I. Jokšienė.
